Samydaceae

Samydaceae is a family of tropical and subtropical plants, its best known genus being Casearia. It has alway been of uncertain placement, usually being submerged in Flacourtiaceae. As the Flacourtiaceae are being subdivided the Samydaceae may come back to life.
